The Filipino American National Historical Society New Jersey Chapter (the FANHS New Jersey Chapter) was established as the 27th Chapter of the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) that was founded in 1982 in Seattle. The national office operates year-round to lend expertise and support to its chapters across the United States and is recognized as the primary informational resource on Filipino Americans for community organizations; primary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities; local and national museums and historical associations; independent authors, playwrights, and filmmakers; and teachers, students, and scholars.

There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. By building an effective web site, we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar issues.

The Filipino American National Historical Society’s 12th National Conference will be held Thursday-Saturday, July 3-5, 2008 in Anchorage, Alaska.

We invite you to visit us or attend an event. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization and how you can join.

Please get in touch to offer comments and join our mailing list.
